The Whirligig Park, named after the original creator of the Whirligigs, has become a major tourist attraction for Wilson, North Carolina.

The Whirligig Park, named after the original creator of the Whirligigs, has become a major tourist attraction for Wilson, North Carolina.

The tracks have historically separated the Black and White sections of Wilson. This barrier has now been eliminated.

 The neglect of the “Black” cemetery, by the public works of Wilson, has resulted in severe overgrowth. Recent efforts have addressed this issue and  the cemetery is being restored to its original significance.
