America Found: A Living Room Conversation
An Evening of Stories, Questions, and Connection
In a time when division often seems to define us, what happens when we simply gather together and listen?
You are invited to an intimate living room conversation based on America Found, photographer and author David Robert Farmerie’s six-year journey across America in search of a deeper question:
Are we truly as divided as we have been led to believe?
Over more than 350,000 miles of travel, David met people from every walk of life—farmers and activists, immigrants and ranchers, conservatives and progressives, people of faith and people with none. Through thousands of conversations, photographs, and shared experiences, a different picture of America began to emerge.
This gathering is not a lecture about politics.
It is not a debate.
It is not a sales event.
Instead, it is an opportunity to explore ideas, stories, and questions that invite reflection and meaningful dialogue.
Through photographs, personal experiences, and excerpts from America Found, David will share what he learned while listening to Americans whose voices are often overlooked or misunderstood. Together, participants will explore themes of belonging, identity, community, and the possibility of finding common ground in an increasingly fragmented world.

Why These Gatherings Matter
Democracy depends on more than agreement—it depends on our willingness to listen.
The goal of these conversations is simple: to create a space where people can share perspectives, ask questions, and discover the humanity that exists beyond labels and assumptions.
Because unity is not found by thinking alike.
It is found by learning to see one another more clearly.
